Current Market Trends/Prices for Chinese Chili Peppers

Today (September 24), weather in the northern small chili pepper production areas is poor, with mostly overcast and rainy conditions. The arrival of newly dried peppers is slightly constrained, supply is limited, trading is light, and prices remain unchanged. Cold-storage pepper trading is also inactive; buyers are purchasing only as needed, buying and selling are progressing steadily, and shipments are normal. In the Kailu production area of Inner Mongolia, trading of Beijing Red has slowed. Demand has recently been weak, with transactions limited to essential needs.
